Holiday pay for colleagues working in schools enables you to receive an income during school holidays whereby you are unable to work.
During the academic year from the 1st week of September until the last week in July you can request any holiday pay that you have accrued during that academic year.
Holiday Pay is only received during School Holidays and is paid upon your authorisation, as some colleagues prefer to receive all accrued Holiday Pay at the end of the annual leave year whereas others prefer to receive whatever they have accrued each School Holiday.

For colleagues being paid via the Affinity Education PAYE scheme, Holiday pay is accrued at 12.07% for each day worked. Full details of statutory leave can be found in your copy of our 'Terms of Engagement' Annual Leave, which you would have been given during your registration with Affinity Education.
