It is also a good idea to present a personal statement/letter of application.

Your CV not only provides us a full understanding of your experience, your CV assists us to effectively market you to support you in securing work.  it is essential that we have regular up to date CV’s on file in order for us to be able to forward CV’s to schools for consideration when recruiting for long term posts.

CRB Certificate-Enhanced Disclosure

**If you already have a CRB which is dated within 2 years of your registration date with Affinity Education, we will request 'portability' of that CRB from the organisation who processed it for you. Portability refers to the re-use of a CRB check, obtained for a position in one organisation and later used for another position in another organisation. Portability allows organisations to share addition information/intelligence that has been revealed to the organisation that is not disclosed on the candidates copy of their CRB.

However no organisation is obliged to provide portability and those that do will usually only do so within 6 months of the date on the CRB.

Therefore you may be required to apply for a new CRB via Affinity Education.

Affinity Education do provide portability on the CRB's that they process within 6 months. This will allow you to use your Affinity Education with an additional employer.

If you have a CRB processed by Affinity Education, as long as you are in continuous work with us, your CRB will be required to be renewed every two years.

The cost of CRB's are met by candidates.
